Ms. Peskin’s presentation will focus on pioneer women, the 19th century movement for women to receive better education, the pre-Civil War intertwined women's/anti-slavery movement and the later push for suffrage. Her recent book series titled Deep Cover Cleveland will be available for purchase. The series presents topics of natural, cultural and social importance in Northeast Ohio and ties them to larger events in the region and world.
