Andrea Gibson is an award winning poet and activist and is the first winner of the Women's World Poetry Slam. Andrea has headlined prestigious performance venues coast to coast with powerful readings on war, class, gender, bullying, white privilege, sexuality, love, and spirituality.
Andrea will be on campus March 18-19, 2013, as the Women's History Month Artist-in-Residence. The Women’s History Month residency is cosponsored by the Women’s Center and the Women’s Studies Program.
