Visiting Writers Series: Kathy Fagan and Raena Shirali

The Wright State University Visiting Writers Series will be hosting posts Kathy Fagan and Raena Shirali for a reading followed by a Q&A. The event is free and open to the public.

Kathy Fagan is the author of Sycamore, as well as four previous collections including The Charm, the National Poetry Series-winning The Raft, and Vassar Miller Prize-winner MOVING & ST RAGE. She is currently the Director of Creative Writing program at Ohio State University, and Poetry Editor for OSU Press.

Raena Shirali is the author of GILT. Her poems & reviews have appeared in Blackbird, Ninth Letter, Crazyhorse, Indiana Review, Pleiades, Four Way Review, & elsewhere. She received her MFA from The Ohio State University. She currently lives in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, where she is the Philip Roth Resident at Bucknell University’s Stadler Center for Poetry, & serves as a poetry reader for Muzzle Magazine.
