Using Breakout Groups in Collaborate Ultra

Led by Greg Asman, Instructional Designer, CTL.  Collaborate Ultra provides breakout groups that allow instructors to provide for students to work in groups online within a scheduled class meeting time in a manner that is very similar to having them work together at tables in a traditional or active learning classroom. This session provides a focused overview of Breakout Groups covering setup, management and tips for conducting activities that utilize Breakout Groups. Participants should have a basic familiarity with Collaborate Ultra prior to attending this session.
