Using the Best Mobile Apps for Active Learning and Teaching Untethered

Led by CTL staff: Jonathan Zemmer, Instructional Designer, Ben Penry, Digital Technology Analyst and Greg Asman, Instructional Designer.  This hands on iOS workshop will showcase several of the best mobile apps for teaching and learning.  Participants in this workshop will receive several paid and free apps that will include Explain Everything, OneNote, Socrative Teacher, and Socrative Student.   The first half of the workshop will focus on pedagogy, active learning and a brief introduction to each of the highlighted apps.  During the second half of the workshops participants will have an opportunity to experiment with each of the apps.
