Led by Greg Asman, Instructional Designer, CTL.  Interested in providing online resources for your students but feel Pilot’s standard course template is too rigid and restricting? Already have content on the web outside of Pilot you would like to incorporate into Pilot beyond just a web link to that content? Want to take advantage of the content, quiz, discussion, classlist, email, news and grades tools in Pilot while keeping your content outside of Pilot on some other site or host on the web? Pilot can provide for a lot more flexibility than is apparent at first glance! Attend this session and learn about the options for customizing your course homepage including creating, placing and/or removing widgets, viewing and using hidden tools as well as hiding unused tools as well as other tips to customize the look & feel of your class in Pilot in addition to learning ways to include and potentially embed, web-based content inside your Pilot course including video, images, wikis, Prezis and other web-based content.
