CELIA welcomes Dr. R. Baxter Miller, Professor of English at the University of Georgia, presenting “Sports Traces of the Harlem Renaissance: The Literary Impact.” This presentation will focus on the social, historical, and cultural contexts of sports and the Harlem Renaissance period during the early 1900s and will also examine texts written by Harlem Renaissance authors. A question-and-answer session will follow Dr. Miller's presentation, which is free and open to the public. Please join us!
