Stand Up Paddleboarding

This class focuses on teaching stand up paddleboard (SUP) balance and footing, basic strokes and maneuvers in a secluded outdoor environment. Participants will be given the opportunity to practice techniques on their own. SUP is fun and can be a great way to explore local waterways but it is also an excellent core workout! Your instructor will give you the option of trying yoga and other fitness focused challenges while on the water.

Cost: $20.00

Cost Includes: Instruction from an ACA Certified Instructor, SUP, Paddle, Life Jacket and Transportation from WSU. (It is also an option to meet us on location)

Registration: You must register at least 24 hrs. in advance. Space is limited to 4 participants. Registration takes place in the Outdoor Resource Center, 037 Student Union.
