A good all hazards response plan is critical to management of a serious public health event. Health professionals do not often have opportunities to practice using their all hazards response plan. This half-day tabletop exercise will use a multifaceted disease outbreak to guide multidisciplinary teams through the steps of a disease investigation.

Registration: Deadline is March 14, 2014
Non-refundable registration fee of $20 includes materials and lunch. Advance registration is required, space is limited.
To register online, visit: and click on the “One Health Approach” tab.

Learning Objectives:
1. Using a 4-hour tabletop exercise format, analyze the utility of your local all hazards
response plan to collaboratively assess a complex public health investigation involving
multiple agencies and jurisdictions.
2. Identify at least one way your all hazards response plan requires the collaboration from
agencies that have overlapping roles.
3. Identify at least one existing gap in your all hazards response plan.
4. Using a provided template, list action steps to address identified gaps in your all hazards
