The Pre-Professional (Health) Program is excited to announce the hosting of a Pre-Health 101 – Everything You Need to Know about Being a Pre-Health Student workshop at the Lake Campus.

Pre-Health 101 – Everything You Need to Know about Being a Pre-Health Student is geared towards students who are interested in going on to professional health care programs (i.e. Chiropractic, Dentistry, Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant, Podiatry, and Veterinary Medicine).

This workshop is designed to ensure students learn the basics in order for them to begin meeting the requirements for competitive application. Topics include:

  • Academic Expectations
  • Prerequisite courses
  • How to develop your Pre-Health Portfolio
  • Characteristics of a Competitive Applicant
