Led by Cheryl Silcox, Instructional Technologist, CTL.  This 90 minute workshop will prepare you to set up and administer your course in Pilot. Topics that will be covered will include:  signing in and locating your Pilot courses; personalizing your Homepage with Widgets; viewing your Classlist and emailing your students; adding users to your course; adding Content to your course; creating modules and sub-modules; uploading files; creating assignments; adding graphics and videos; creating links to outside content; using the Course Calendar; setting up work groups; introduction to the Pilot Live web-conferencing tool; setting up asynchronous, online Discussions; creating an assignment Dropbox; using the TurnItIn plagiarism-detection tool; setting up your Gradebook; and creating quizzes, exams, and surveys.
