Offering basic patent information and search techniques for using the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office website and the European Patent Office's Espacenet database. The U.S. becomes a first-to-file, rather than a first-to-invent country on March 16, 2013. This and other changes in U.S. patent law will be discussed.

WSU Libraries are a Patent and Trademark Resource Center and provide the community with access to PubWEST, a web-based examiner search tool (the same patent database used by USPTO examiners).

Seating is limited. Register online or call Ran Raider, Gov't. & Legal Information Coord., at (937) 775-3521 or ran.raider@wright.edu.
