Ohio Medical Education Day (OMED) is an opportunity for Ohio pre-health professions students to learn about how to prepare for, enter, and be successful in the medical field. OMED 2017 will be hosted by Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), and sessions will cover topics including choosing and financing medical school, metrics of competitive applications and the application process, how to perfect a CV and personal statement, networking, medical school interviews, travel abroad, and the pros and cons of taking a gap year. In addition to these sessions, attendees will be able to attend a medical student panel discussion, a “Meet the Deans” chance to learn about potential schools, and a tour of NEOMED.

  • Business casual attire is suggested. Refreshments will be provided midway through the day.
