In the spirit of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the University Activities Board is encouraging students to inpsire others and give back, helping local youth in their communities. UAB will be having a book drive, collecting books for kids in grades 5-8, that will be donated to the Dayton Leadership Academy, a local urban school in Dayton. UAB will be in the Atrium all afternoon, encouraging students to take a moment to write an inspirational message of encouragement on the inside cover of the books that will be given to the kids, encouraging them to stay in school and promote the themes of social justice and peace that Dr, King spent his life working for.
