**ABSTRACT:** We will explore the connection between factorial moments of parking functions and the number of labeled trees and connected graphs on *n* vertices and *n+k* edges. A tool in effecting this connection is Abel interpolation and Abel polynomials.

**ABOUT THE SPEAKER:** Dr. Kung is a professor of mathematics at University of North Texas. He attained his Ph.D at MIT in 1978 under his advisor, Dr. Gian-Carlo Rota His areas of research include combinatorics, matroid theory, lattice theory, classical invariant theory, arrangements of hyperplanes, etc. His research had been supported by NSF and NSA.
