Major Christina F. Rusnock currently serves as Deputy Department Head, Assistant Professor of Systems Engineering, and Systems Engineering Distance Learning Program Chair, in the Systems Engineering and Management Department of the Air Force Institute of Technology. She earned a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering in 2013 from the University of Central Florida (UCF), Orlando, FL; a M.S. degree in Industrial Engineering in 2011 from UCF; a M.S. degree in Research and Development Management in 2008 from the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) in Dayton, OH; and a B.A. in Economics-Government in 2004 from Claremont McKenna College, Claremont, CA.  Dr. Rusnock has published 1 book, 11 journal articles, and 26 conference papers. Her research interests include human performance modeling, healthcare process modeling, mental workload, trust in automation, and situation awareness, with a focus on applications in human-machine interaction and adaptive automation.  Previously Maj Rusnock served as the Missile Warning Systems Project Manager, for the Alternate Infrared Satellite System (AIRSS), at the Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles AFB CA, and as the Mission Systems Program Manager for the C-17 Globemaster, at the Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB OH.
