A truly collaborative venture, the WSU Madrigal Dinner partners
talented faculty, students and community artists with skilled
university service providers to choreograph the performance
and special meal. The Department
of Music has an important role in the production; music
and artistic direction is provided by its faculty, Hank Dahlman.
Bill Rickert joins Dr. Dahlman at the extravagent head table
as the lord of the manor. The dancers and bearers are
members of the Tudor Rose Performing Troupe, a group dedicated
to recreating the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Guests
are also treated to the sounds of early music ensemble Wind
in the Woods. Finally, we acknowledge the University Dining
Services staff who create and produce a memorable holiday
feast, as well as the behind-the-scenes efforts of the Media
Services wizards and our friends from Deal's Landscaping who
transform the Multipurpose Room into a believable Great Hall. |
