From Lecture and Lab to online Teaching, Kicking and Screaming All the Way

Led by Elliot Gaines, Ph.D., Professor, Communication.  This workshop examines the experiences of a professor of media studies, a resistant adopter of new technologies and social media, who has successfully transitioned from traditional teaching into the world of online instruction.  The challenges of learning to use Pilot, understanding online pedagogy and the perspectives of students, and the pros and cons of online teaching for the instructor, the students, and the institution will be discussed.
