Modern Languages Lecture Series: "Germanness" in Microcosm, by Dr. Renate Sturdevant:
Dr. Sturdevant, a native German, will explore "Germanness" using the example of the most successful and most diverse German State: Nordrheim-Westfalen. Dr. Sturdevant investigates history and culture to attempt to pinpoint the essence of "Germanness" in this particular state.
