Organized by the Raj Soin College of Business Faculty Development Committee and Center for Teaching and Learning, this development workshop will provide information on Panopto, Wright State University’s new academic media management system and streaming video server integrated directly into Pilot. First, we will examine a classroom use case of recorded video lectures and how you can employ them in your face-to-face classroom.  In the hands-on portion, we will look at how to use the Panopto Recorder to capture a lecture video from your office computer or within the classroom, upload your video to stream in Pilot, and organize your video lectures to share with students. In addition to screen and lecture capture abilities, Panopto can be used and configured in a variety of ways to meet your instructional needs, including: multiple publishing options, detailed analytics, video editing, variable speed playback, and student media upload capabilities for assignment submissions. Led by Burhan Kawosa, Senior Lecturer, Department of Finance and Financial Services, Raj Soin College of Business; Ben Penry, Digital Technology Analyst with CTL; and Bryan Beverly, Sr. Digital Technology Analyst/Project Manager with CTL.
