Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley will keynote a campus and community forum as part of CELIA’s RISING: Women in American Culture since Suffrage. In celebration of the centennial anniversary of 19th Amendment recognizing women’s suffrage in the United States, this yearlong slate of events features women’s accomplishments in myriad capacities. Mayor Whaley’s talk, entitled Leadership Journey: Interpersonal Conversation with Mayor Nan Whaley, will be presented in an interview style based on student questions and facilitated by Wright State University students.
