Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail, Ohiopyle, PA
The Laurel Highlands Hiking trail is a 70-mile backpacking and hiking trail in Western PA. Part of the Potomac Heritage Trail, it is one of the most celebrated Pennsylvania hiking trails for its varied terrain and wondrous beauty. Kick off summer with this trip, covering 47 miles of the trail, backpacking 5-9miles per day.  Celebrate the end the trip with an accelerating day of rafting on the Upper Youghiogheny River, Class V whitewater.
 
Cost: $300.00 Cost Includes: ORC Trip Leaders, transportation, all backpacking 
equipment, meals on location, rafting
 
Activity Level: Intermediate-Advanced, must be able to hike independently on strenuous 
terrain while carrying up to a 40lb backpack. This trip is strenuous.
