John Bryan State Park, Wingo Parking Area
John Bryan is the most scenic state park in western Ohio. The 752-acre park contains a remarkable limestone gorge cut by the Little Miami River which is designated as a state and national scenic river. A portion of the gorge itself is designated as a national natural landmark. We will hike approx. 6 miles through the park and Clifton Gorge. For those traveling in the Campus Rec van, we will enjoy a quick stop at Young's Dairy for ice-cream before returning to WSU.
Cost includes: Equipment, instruction, and transportation.
Activity level: Beginner-Intermediate.
