This lecture by Dr. David Holmes (professor emeritus of religious studies, College of William and Mary) will focus on his recently published book, The Faiths of the Postwar Presidents: From Truman to Obama, and will include a wide range of anecdotes not limited to the religious upbringing of the twelve presidents.  Holmes's lectures are known to be stimulating and informative, and he is at his best during the Q & A.  This presentation is co-sponsored by the Departments of Religion/Philosophy/Classics, History, and Political Science, as well as the University Honors Program.
