Led by Raghu Srinivasan, PhD (Mechanical and Materials Engineering), Cristina Redko, PhD (Master of Public Health).  Two faculty member’s perspective on utilizing the Perusall e-texbook tool to engage students in their reading assignments.  Perusall allows students to annotate course readings and asynchronously respond to each other's comments and make questions about the readings in context.  Perusall’s data analytics automatically generates optimal student groupings and grades students' engagement to ensure they are prepared for class. This workshop describes how our students have become more motivated to read, how they learn more and collaborate with peers, when using Perusall.
