John J. Quinn, Ph.D., P.E., from the Environmental Science Division, Argonne National Laboratory will present aspects of his research. The phytoremediation project involved planting poplar and willow trees as a way to improve ground water quality with a contaminated aquifer beneath and adjacent to the Laboratory site in northeastern Illinois.
