Please join us for a CTL Book Discussion, led by Matt Ingram, Lecturer, Finance & Financial Services.  We will discuss “What the Best College Teachers Do” by Ken Bain. Mr. Bain focuses on the results of a fifteen-year study of acclaimed college teachers across the country.  Many of us have thought about how to improve our performance inside the classroom.  This book discussion is for anyone at Wright State who wants to become a better teacher.

The discussion will cover the key questions posed by the author such as:
“How Do They Prepare to Teach?”
“How Do They Conduct Class?”
“What Do They Expect of Their Students?”

Books will be provided by the Finance & Financial Services Department and distributed through the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL).  The book was chosen as A Chronicle of Higher Education “Top 10 Books on Teaching” Selection, 2014.
