“Photographing the Egypt-Palestine Front during the Great War” A lecture and Presentation by Dr. Issam Nassar, Department of History, Illinois State University Time and Place: Thursday September 18, 6:00-8:00 pm, 109 Oelman Hall Examining photos of the failed Ottoman attempt to seize the Suez Canal in 1915, Dr. Nassar will discuss Ottoman preparations for war and the role that photography played in the First World War.
