Located in the Student Union Atrium, an accessible ATM is available for use. There is also a Wright Patt Credit Union branch inside the Atrium, should you require assistance.

Campus Bookstore

In addition to the usual stock of books and Wright State apparel and gifts, the Wright State University bookstore features many convenience items for sale, such as food, beverages, school supplies, personal care items, and more.

Campus Dining

Wright State features several on-campus dining options, including the Union Market, located conveniently in the same building as the conference.  If you feel like ventuirng out of the Student Union, you can check out the other dining options. The Hospitality Services website offers a map of all campus dining options (JPEG).

Union Market

Wright State University’s largest dining facility, Union Market, is located in the Student Union. Watch your meals prepared right before your eyes at each platform or grab a smoothie at Jamba Juice. We have everything you need under one roof!

Union Market offers the following platforms:

  • Innovation Kitchen Ohio – watch our chefs make your meal to order and learn about local products from guest chefs.
  • 2.mato – Specialty Pizzas, Calzones, and pasta! – all freshly baked in a brick oven from dough made on campus daily
  • Grill Nation –Hand formed fresh beef burgers and hand cut fries.  Try the Mile High Burger (or the delicious black bean veggie burger for our vegetarian friends)!
  • Chickendipity – Fresh chicken tenders, buttermilk marinated and hand breaded served fried, grilled or buffalo sytle.
  • Chef Jet’s Modern Asian Kitchen – Pick your base of rice or noodles, pick from two stir fried dishes, then pick your vegetables and sides before you top it off your way with a choice of sauces.
  • Homestyle Kitchen – All of your “comfort food” favorites – carved meats, mashed potatoes, mac  & cheese – the menu changes daily.
  • Create - Customized salads and wraps along with Au Bon Pain Soups.
  • Tim Horton’s- Breakfast and lunch sandwiches, soups, doughnuts, muffins, and more!
  • Outtakes Food To Go A fresh selection of grab and go sandwiches, wraps, salads, desserts and snacks! We also offer a large selection of  fresh fruits and Yoplait® yogurt, Pepsi® and Frito Lay® favorites and much more! Vegetarian options are available at each station.

Fitness Center

The Fitness Center, one of CREC's primary facilities, is located in the lower level of the Student Union. It features a wide variety of options available to fit anyone's recreational and exercise needs. It features state-of-the-art equipment and features enough space to accommodate all kinds of different activities. Lactation Rooms

Two lactation rooms are available on campus to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Located in the Biological Sciences Building and Oelman Hall, the rooms offer a quiet space for nursing. For exact locations and other information, please download the informational flyer (PDF)

Please note that, according to Ohio law, "A mother is entitled to breast-feed her baby in any location of a place of public accommodation wherein the mother otherwise is permitted." 

Personal Assistance Station

Located in 072 Student Union, the Personal Assistance Station is managed by Wright State University's Office of Disability Services (ODS). Equipped with three private accessible restrooms, ceiling-mounted lifts, and changing tables, the PA station is staffed by trained ODS student employees. One male and one female staff member are available for the comfort and convenience of its guests. The station staff will be available to provide personal assistance with lavatory needs, clothing, bags, etc. at no cost to conference attendees requesting assistance. Conference attendees may choose to use the PA Station facilities with station staff's assistance, or with the assistance of their own personal assistant(s). The PA Station staff does not provide medical treatment, transportation assistance, or off-site assistance.

The hours of the PA station will be as follows:

  • Friday, September 22, 9 a.m.–7 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 23, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
  • Sunday, September 24, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Wingerd Service Dog Park

Located on Wright State’s Dayton campus, Wingerd Service Dog Park offers a full acre of accessible, fenced exercise space near the academic buildings and residence halls. Visit the Service Dog Park webpage for details on the park.
