Wright State offers a variety of additional campus resources that you may need both before and after your Orientation session:
- Campus Bookstore
The Barnes & Noble Campus Bookstore is an excellent resource for your academic and apparel needs. Buy, rent, or sell books and ebooks, get your Wright State hoodie and sweats, and check out all the other great items available in the Student Union store.
- Computing and Telecommunications Services (CaTS)
The Computing and Telecommunications Services website provides information and support on campus technology, including internet access, computer labs, telephones, information technology security, cable television, and more.
- Counseling and Wellness Services
Counseling and Wellness Services offers a wide range of therapeutic services including group, individual, couples, and family therapy to registered Wright State University students.
- Office of Disability Services
The Office of Disability Services offers services, programs, and activities that allow students with disabilities to participate in all facets of university life.
- Career Center
The Career Center is committed to helping students and alumni develop career and life planning skills, acquire experience, master job search strategies, and seek rewarding employment.
Students' primary point of contact for enrollment services, such as financial aid, registration, and student accounts.
- Student Activities
The Office of Student Activities provides student organization services, campus programs, fraternity and sorority advisement, and leadership development programs that support students' holistic development.
- Student Affairs
The Division of Student Affairs advocates for students' needs, facilitates student involvement, and encourages students to accept responsibilities of membership in a campus community. This division handles student-centered concerns.
- Student Health Services
Located in the Student Union, Student Health Services provides a certified family nurse practitioner for primary health care to all registered students on campus. The nurse practitioner can write prescriptions and see students on a walk-in basis or by appointment. A physician is in the Student Health Services Center four hours per week and sees patients by appointment only.
- University Police Department
The Wright State Police Department is a force of sworn police officers who meet all state police training requirements. Officers are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The police department exists to ensure a safe and secure educational environment that promotes diversity, tolerance, academic freedom, and respect for the individual.
