Fall Orientation

During Fall Orientation, the entire Class of 2022 will be on campus together for this mandatory program. You will meet with faculty and staff from your academic college, get tips on how to excel in your classes, learn more about important support services available to you, meet other members of the Class of 2022, and have fun!

There is no need to register for Fall Orientation – we will see you on the Founders Quad at 10 a.m.

Fall Orientation Schedule

Friday, August 24, 2018

8:30–10 a.m. -  Beginning in Honors

109 Oelman Hall

Honors Students will meet to learn specifics about the University Honors Program.

10–11 a.m. - Orientation Opening Session

Founders Quad

  • Commuter Students – Meet at Founders Quad, located between Allyn, Millett, Oelman and Fawcett Halls at 10 a.m.  Park in Lot 11.
  • Resident Students - Meet in your Residence Hall Floor Lounge at 9:45 a.m.

College Meetings

Locations announced at the Opening Session

At your college meeting you will meet with faculty, touch base with an academic advisor, learn Student Success tips, receive college updates and mingle with students who share your major. We will have a special session for students who have not chosen a major.

Student Success Center

Attend your first collegiate conference and gain knowledge about important support services to make you a successful student. Learn about:

  • Getting a job on campus, Student Health Services, Campus Safety, Getting Involved Tips from upper-class students, Making the most of your Meal Plan – and MORE!
  • Watch for a complete schedule to be posted the week of August 20.
