Soin Medical Center—Patricia Barker

Patricia (Patty) Barker has been a Registered Nurse for 10 years and has worked at Soin Medical Center for almost two years. As a nurse, she is confident, knowledgeable, and competent—all of which make her a strong charge nurse on night shift in the Emergency Room. Patty’s compassion is also highly visible. As a member of the Product Review Committee, Patty advocates for changes she believes are needed to enhance patient care. She also serves on the Emergency Department Unit’s Practice Committee. Patty earned her AAS in Nursing from Sinclair Community College and her BSN from Indiana Wesleyan University. She holds certification in the Trauma Nursing Core Course, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
