Grandview Medical Center - Tanita Brock

Tanita Brock has been employed at Grandview Medical Center for four years, nearly her entire career as a registered nurse. Tanita is extremely organized, well prepared, and proficient. She has vast experience and knowledge, providing excellent nursing care. She has a positive outlook and pleasant attitude—she always has a smile on her face. She calms both frightened patients who are undergoing procedures or surgeries and their families. Tanita also suffered a catastrophic health event herself, so she understands what it feels like to be on the other side of the bed. She understands what it means to be a patient and trust care to strangers. This event has made her the compassionate nurse she is today. Tanita is known for the high standard of her nursing practice. Not only does she advocate for patients and families, but she also has taken many committee assignments to help facilitate better care. She is a team player and always willing to help a co-worker. She assists others busy with patients on the floor and stays past her shift to help. Tanita earned her A.D.W. from Edison State Community College in 2012 and earned her B.S.N. in 2014. She is currently working on her M.S.N. from Ohio University and is set to graduate in 2018.
