Atrium Medical Center - Toni Doyle

Toni Doyle has worked as a registered nurse for nine years and has been at Atrium Medical Center for almost seven years. Currently working in the cardiac catheterization lab, Toni is also an accredited case manager. As the chairperson of the Professional Excellence in Nursing (PEN) committee, she is passionate about staff education and empowerment through knowledge, and encourages other nurses to pursue PEN certification as a way to showcase their accomplishments, knowledge, and skill levels. She actively assists other staff with their PEN packets, finding opportunities for education opportunities and committee memberships. She encourages all nurses in her lab to become PEN nurses, with 88 percent applying. She also provides assistance and mentoring for nurses pursing PEN recognition. Toni got her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 2006.
