About Economics Online

Some of the most basic choices we make every day are influenced by the economy ­ from when to replace our old car to whether we can splurge on a latté at lunchtime.

Unfortunately, studies show that young people in our country are alarmingly uneducated about this important area of our lives. The good news is K-12 teachers are in a unique position to make a difference. Using the familiar classroom forum, teachers can greatly improve their students' understanding about the economy and their place in it

Economics Online at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio is designed to help teachers learn how to teach economics. Through an extensive offering of online courses that were developed specifically for K-12 teachers, teachers can learn how to stimulate their students' knowledge and interest in economics.
