Students needing technical assistance with online courses may contact the Help Desk. The CaTS Help Desk can assist you with your CAMPUS account and any of the services it can access, including WINGS, the university portal at wings.wright.edu.

The Help Desk's regular hours are:

  • 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday
  • 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday
  • 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday
  • Noon to 10 p.m. Sunday

(posted hours subject to change during breaks and holidays)

Browser Requirements

To access Wright State's online courses, you'll need a computer with an internet connection and one of these Web browsers:

  • Internet Explorer for Windows 5.0, 5.5 SP2, 6.0 or higher
  • Internet Explorer for Mac 5.1 or higher
  • Netscape 6.2.2 or higher
  • Mozilla 1.5 and 1.6
  • Safari 1.2 or higher

Individual classes may have additional software requirements.

Computer Requirements

You need at least the equipment below. Newer, faster, higher versions will usually work better.

Microsoft Windows

  • 1gHz processor
  • 512mb RAM
  • 10gb Hard Drive
  • CD-ROM (DVD-ROM recommended)
  • monitor capable of 1024x768 resolution
  • Windows XP
  • Internet service provider. (A broadband connection is highly recommended)

Apple Macintosh

  • Power Macintosh G4 800mHz to 1.25gHz
  • 512mb RAM
  • 10gb Hard Drive
  • CD-ROM (DVD-ROM recommended)
  • monitor capable of 1024x768 resolution
  • MacOS X 10.3
  • Internet service provider. (A broadband connection is highly recommended)
