Description: Introduction to the design of visual display systems. Topics include display technologies, human visual capacities, design of display parameters, and image quality metrics.

• 256mb RAM (512 strongly recommended)
• 10gb Hard Drive
• CD-ROM (DVD-ROM recommended)
• monitor capable of 1024x768 resolution
• Windows 2000 is acceptable, but Windows XP Pro is recommended
• Internet service provider and 56 kbps modem or broadband connection

• Power Macintosh G4 550mHz
• 256mb RAM (512 strongly recommended)
• 10gb Hard Drive
• CD-ROM (DVD-ROM recommended)
• monitor capable of 1024x768 resolution
• MacOS X 10.3
• Internet service provider and 56 kbps modem or broadband connection
