Advanced Technical Writing

Description: Reviews the fundamentals of technical writing with attention to reports, proposals, manuals, technical articles, and style manuals. Emphasis on writing for specific fields with opportunity for independent writing projects in the student's major field.

Credits: 4 under-graduate quarter hours

  • CD-ROM (DVD-ROM recommended)
  • monitor capable of 1024x768 resolution
  • Windows 2000 is acceptable, but Windows XP Pro is recommended
  • Internet service provider and 56 kbps modem or broadband connection

  • Power Macintosh G4 550mHz
  • 256mb RAM (512 strongly recommended)
  • 10gb Hard Drive
  • CD-ROM (DVD-ROM recommended)
  • monitor capable of 1024x768 resolution
  • MacOS X 10.3
  • Internet service provider and 56 kbps modem or broadband connection

You will also need internet access with a 56 kbps modem or faster connection and a compatible web browser.
