Issues and Implications of Telecommunication in Education
Description: Students meet
in seminar-fashion both in the traditional as well as virtual
classroom. All will participate in an interactive, online discussion
group. Topics will focus on creating virtual entities, developing
a sense of community using online tools, the developing communication
infrastructure, how new technologies affect children in the school,
the home, and the future job market.
Credits: 3 graduate quarter

Investigation of educational telecommunication. Internet chat, discussions,
management of online community (project), IVDL, use of educational
webpages (using templates or building page if one has skills).
