Section Specific Course Description: This course is designed to be a follow-up to Economic Applications Using the Internet 1. Students will continue to explore and document resources available on the Internet to aid in teaching economics to K -12 students.

Minimum technical requirements:

Intel/Microsoft Windows

  • Intel Pentium (or equivalent) 650mHz processor
  • 256mb RAM (512 strongly recommended)
  • 10gb Hard Drive
  • CD-ROM (DVD-ROM recommended)
  • monitor capable of 1024x768 resolution
  • Windows 2000 is acceptable, but Windows XP Pro is recommended
  • Internet service provider and 56 kbps modem or broadband connection

Apple Macintosh

  • Power Macintosh G4 550mHz
  • 256mb RAM (512 strongly recommended)
  • 10gb Hard Drive
  • CD-ROM (DVD-ROM recommended)
  • monitor capable of 1024x768 resolution
  • MacOS X 10.3
  • Internet service provider and 56 kbps modem or broadband connection

You will also need internet access with a 56 kbps modem or faster connection and a compatible web browser.
