large_states.pngDistance Learning Eligibility

The United States Department of Education requires that every institution of higher education obtain authorization from each state in which it offers distance education opportunities. Wright State University is committed to complying with the requirements of each state in which we offer distance learning programs and courses.

If you currently reside in the United States but outside the State of Ohio and are considering enrolling in an online program or in an online course offered by Wright State University, it is necessary that you consult the information below to determine your eligibility. These restrictions do not apply to students enrolled on either the Wright State Dayton or Lake Campuses. However, students currently enrolled on our campuses who wish to complete their program online should ensure that Wright State is authorized to provide distance education in their planned state of residency.
