Classical Languages and Cultures

You will study the cultures and languages of ancient Greece and Rome and the impact they’ve had on the western world, including language, literature, art and architecture, politics, religion, science, and philosophy. You will study ancient Greek or Latin and learn about the history, literature, and material culture of ancient Greece and Rome, as well as develop effective written and oral communication and critical thinking skills. You can use this program as an effective foundation for graduate study in programs like law, education, and medical school or go on to work in museums, historical sites, education, business, and more. Choose from a Bachelor of Arts or add a minor to an existing program.
