These post-masters certificates in nursing build on the existing curriculum of the masters in nursing. The plan of study includes all the clinically related courses currently taken by the first master's degree students. For purposes of student eligibility for certification, all required courses must be taken at Wright State University or challenged by either examination or demonstrations of similar course content in the student's previous master's program. The College of Nursing and Health offers a certificate in all concentrations.
Applicants must be an advanced practice nurse in the state where clinical experiences are planned. At least one year of post master's clinical nursing experience is required. Please contact the College of Nursing for specific admission details and course requirements for each certificate.
