Overview of mathematical topics from a perspective appropriate for early and middle childhood educators. Number systems such as whole numbers, fractions, rationals and decimals. Place value and bases. The meaning of and algorithms for the operations of addition, subtraction, and multiplication.

Prerequisites: 

WSU Math Placement Level 30 or Undergraduate level DEV 0970 Minimum Grade of P or Undergraduate level DEV 0990 Minimum Grade of P

Restrictions: 
Must be enrolled in one of the following Majors: Early Childhood Education, Middle Childhood Education, Teacher Education.
