  Ohio Certified Public Manager

. . . Taking public management to the highest level

Testimonials

I can’t say enough about the Ohio Certified Public Manager Program.  I graduated with a heightened appreciation for public service and a deeper understanding of the many systems and relationships that improve one’s quality of life.  I began to see public service in its most noble form and was reminded why we, Ohio’s public servants, truly exist.  I gained invaluable knowledge and information from my fellow cohorts and instructors – the kind that only comes from living and breathing the experience. I also gained friendships that will last forever.

I participated in the program to become a certified manager and to learn more about state and local government.  I expected doors to open.  However, I never imagined they’d open so quickly.  Less than one year after graduation, I was promoted from Chief Administrative Assistant to Director of Community Services.

I would encourage anyone who has a love for public service and a desire to become better in the field, to take advantage of this wonderful program and the golden opportunity it presents both personally and professionally.
