Curriculum

Curriculum is designed to address four areas of learning:

  • General Administrative and Organizational Skills

Courses include, but are not limited to: Ethics and Integrity, Working Effectively with Boards and Commissions, Managing Customer Relations, Public Sector Leadership, Government in Ohio, and Managing in Public Organizations

  • Analytical and Conceptual

Skills Courses include, but are not limited to: Breakthrough Thinking, Performance Measurement, Project Management, Strategic Planning, Planning and Evaluation, Managing Change, Quality Management, and Consulting Skills

  • Technical, Quantitative and Qualitative Skills

Courses include, but are not limited to: Effective Presentations, Managerial Accounting and Finance, Labor Relations, Data Based Decision Making, Budgeting, Employment Law, and Public Information Law

  • Human Relations Skills

Courses include, but are not limited to: Building Effective Work Relationships, Managing Diversity, Developing People, Influence Skills, Negotiation and Dispute Resolution, Understanding Self and Others, Developing and Leading Teams, and Manager’s New Role
