Foundations
A foundation is an organization created to support charitable
activities by establishing a permanent fund by means of endowments
or contributions for charitable, educational, religious, research,
or other benevolent purposes. The purpose of a foundation is to
disperse monetary support for issues that are in line with the
mission
of the foundation. These grants are given in an effort to endorse a
specific activity or activities for a charitable purpose. Not all grants are funded and
guidelines among foundations will vary.
