The Ohio Governor’s Workforce Policy Advisory Board is sponsoring an employer survey, being conducted by Wright State University. A random sample of Ohio businesses has been selected to participate. The Board oversees Workforce Development services in the state. These services, such as technical assistance and training programs, help prepare individuals to enter the labor force, as well as provide existing workers with the necessary skills for ongoing career development.
Survey results will provide guidance to schools, employment and training services, and workforce boards. Most importantly, the results will assist employers in planning solutions to meet workforce challenges. Wright State University will use collected responses to produce summary statistics. No data identifying individual firms will be published, but such data may be used by workforce development experts for planning purposes. A summary report will be issued in November 2008 on the Governor’s Workforce Policy Advisory Board's website at www.ohioworkforceboard.org.

Selected business representatives may complete the survey online. The ID# from the bottom of the recieved letter will be needed for this survey.
