Registration for First-Time International Graduate Teaching Assistants Workshop,
August 19, 20 and 21, 2013

Please register by August 13, 2013.

In order to attend the IGTA Workshop and register for the Oral Proficiency Test (OPT), you must have been appointed to a GTA position by your department. If you have not yet been appointed, but the appointment is pending, the validity of your impending appointment must be verified either by your department or by the Graduate School.

IGTA Orientation

  • Monday, August 19: 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.—All Day Workshop and OPT scheduling. 401 Millett Hall.
  • Tuesday, August 20: 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.—Microteaching: Videotaping/Review Sessions. 401 and 402 Millett Hall.
  • Wednesday, August 21: Oral Proficiency Testing (OPT). Individual times scheduled on first day of workshop. 497 and 499 Millett Hall.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS AUGUST 13, 2013

Please be aware that all first-time International Graduate Teaching Assistants (IGTA) at Wright State University are required to attend the fall workshop. Those attending the full workshop will receive full compensation for the month of September. Those who do not attend the full workshop will receive their stipend minus one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00).
