After entering the
room where you will be tested, take a few moments to "center"
yourself. Take a few deep, relaxing breaths (i.e., breathe from your diaphragm,
not your chest - when you breathe in, your stomach should go out).
It is natural to
have many anxious thoughts and feelings at this time. To deal with these
thoughts and feelings, close your eyes, take a deep breathe, and think
"eye of the hurricane."
